What is "Storybird"?

 

  "Storybird" is a learning tool that help learners to create his/ her picture books (for free), longfoms and poems. I reckon it is precious in the current society that you still can save some of your creation and ideas. With using "Storybird", people are inspired to write stories.
  "Storybird"可以作為"Educators"以及"Students"兩端:

* Educators:教師(教育者)建立使用帳戶後，隨後可利用class code邀請學生;老師也能夠創建及分派作業、給予評論、幫學生複習、或是打成績。同時，教師也可協助學生的家庭成員(e.g., 家長)來購買孩子們的copy版繪本。

* Students:縱使孩子們利用插圖(畫)所創建的繪本不能夠公開出版，但教師能在課室當中讓孩子們互相分享、評論彼此的繪本。家長則是能夠將繪本作為紀念品。
* 優點:
1.Storybird上可創造不同的班級，讓學生加到不同的班級。
2.教師的頁面可以看到整班學生的故事進度；以及處理學生帳密事宜(忘記帳密及做修改等等)。
3.當有新作業要寫時，學生的頁面會收到來自網站之通知(但學生需要是登入狀態)。
4.一般民眾也可於註冊時選"regular users",來寫寫繪本。
5.頁面操作直觀，不須會英文也能看得懂如何使用.操作。
